Everything you
need to know
Answers to the most common questions. For any question specific to your project, contact us before ordering.
When is the best time to plant Paulownia?
Spring (April–June) is the most recommended period in temperate regions. It allows good rooting before summer. Autumn planting can work in some areas, provided late frost is not an immediate risk.
Which variety should I choose for my project?
The choice depends on your climate, soil type and objectives. Fortunei tolerates cold better, Tomentosa is the most classic in Europe, while hybrids like Pao Tong Z07 or Shan Tong are valued for their vigour. Contact us for a personalized recommendation.
What is the difference between seeds and root cuttings?
Seeds are only available for non-hybrid varieties (Tomentosa, Elongata, Fortunei). They require more time and attention during germination. Root cuttings are available for all varieties including hybrids, and offer more direct establishment under good conditions.
Can Paulownia be planted in Europe?
Yes. Paulownia is grown across many European regions. It adapts well to areas with mild to moderate winters. In regions with severe frost, caution is advised depending on the variety and exposure. Always check local regulations before planting.
Do root cuttings establish easily?
Under good conditions — well-prepared soil, correct planting season, regular initial watering — root cuttings generally give good results. The guide included with every order provides detailed instructions.
Do you offer bulk quantities for professionals?
Yes. KiriGreen offers solutions for projects requiring large volumes. Contact us directly for your specific needs, availability and lead times. A custom quote can be prepared based on your project.
What are the shipping times?
Shipping times depend on stock availability, the season and quantities ordered. Orders are dispatched as quickly as possible after confirmation. Precise information is indicated on each product page.
