Paulownia 9503 "Oxytree" is one of the most productive hybrids available — a vigorous selection bred for fast, uniform growth and high yield. It belongs to the 950X hybrid line (which also includes 9501 and 9502): although these hybrids share the same genetic parents (P. tomentosa × P. fortunei), each is a distinct variety with its own characteristics, and the 9503 stands out as the most refined selection of the line, geared towards high productivity.
Our bare-root stumps (XXL format) are strong, dormant young plants prepared for direct planting. Unlike root cuttings, each XXL stump already has a developed root system and a cut trunk, allowing faster establishment and vigorous regrowth after planting.
Each stump is carefully selected for trunk thickness, root development and overall vitality. Once planted under suitable conditions, new shoots emerge from the stump and develop rapidly into a vigorous Paulownia tree.
This format is particularly suited to forestry plantations, agroforestry projects, biomass production, timber plantations, landscaping and large-scale ecological projects.

Advantages of Bare-Root Paulownia Stumps
- Compared with seeds, bare-root stumps already possess a developed root system, reducing the time required for early establishment.
- Compared with root cuttings, the stump format includes both a cut trunk and a complete root structure, offering a more advanced planting product.
- After planting, the stump produces new shoots from the upper section. The strongest shoot can then be selected and trained to form a straight, vigorous trunk.
Packaging and Delivery
The stumps are prepared and protected to preserve their natural humidity during transport. Upon delivery:
- open the package promptly;
- inspect the roots;
- keep them cool and protected from direct sunlight;
- do not allow the root system to dry out;
